How to enter

1. Visit the LDO website to learn how to get involved, read the competition terms, and download and print your template. Alternatively, visit Guest Services to learn about the competition and collect your printed template.

2. Unleash your creativity and design a pair of trainers that represent your favourite things, style and individuality. Ensure your design includes both a right and left side. The more vibrant, the better!

3. Once your artwork is ready, capture its brilliance with a clear, high-quality photo or scan (300dpi). Submit your artwork through the designated page on our website or drop it off at Guest Services. Remember to include your name, age, shoe size, and a contact number for your parent, guardian, or teacher. The deadline for entry is Wednesday, 4th September 2024. 

4. Our esteemed panel of judges will select one winner from each of the three age categories. Each winner will receive a £50 gift voucher for London Designer Outlet. One special overall winner will be awarded a £100 gift voucher and their artwork turned into real trainers. Winners will be notified and announced the week commencing 9th September 2024.

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: The competition is open to children aged 1 to 12 years old. The competition is international with no geographic restrictions.
2. How to Enter: Parents, guardians, or legal representatives must submit entries on behalf of the child. Each entrant may submit only one artwork. Entries must be submitted through the official competition website, emailed to [email protected], or delivered to Guest Services at London Designer Outlet. Entries must be in a digital format (scanned or photographed) and in high- resolution JPEG or PNG format. Full colour is encouraged. Submissions must include the child’s name, age, shoe size and contact email of the parent/guardian, and a title for the artwork.
3. Artwork Requirements:
   Artwork must be the original creation of the child, 2-dimensional, and can be created using any medium. It should not contain offensive, explicit, or inappropriate content and should follow the theme “Colour My Kicks”.
4. Judging:
   Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, adherence to the theme, and artistic skill.
   The judging panel will consist of professional artists and art enthusiasts.
   The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Prizes:
   One winner from three age categories will be selected and receive a £50 gift card per person.
   An overall Competition will be selected and will receive a £100 gift card per person.
   Prizes may include art supplies, gift cards, certificates, or other items as determined by the competition organizers.
   Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Ownership and Usage Rights:
   By submitting an entry, the parent/guardian grants the competition organiser (London Designer Outlet) a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the artwork for promotional and marketing purposes related to the competition.
7. Notification:
   Winners will be notified via the contact email provided during entry submission.
   If a winner does not respond within a specified timeframe, the prize may be forfeited, and another winner selected.
8. Data Privacy:
   Personal information collected during the competition will only be used for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties.
9. Release of Liability:
   By entering the competition, participants and their parents/guardians release the competition organizers from any liability, loss, injury, or damage arising from their participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.
10. Modifications and Termination:
